When our founder began renovating a 1860s home, he and his wife discovered finding reliable contractors to be the biggest challenge. Frustrated, they decided to take on many of the projects. Those tasks beyond his skillset were subcontracted to effect a role of project manager. Coupled with a hands-on approach, they were able to successfully complete the renovation on schedule and under budget.
This experience helped our founder identify a major issue in home renovation: contractors who fail to respond, show up, or leave projects unfinished, frustrate homeowners.
